This is a weird one!
We're no stranger to earthquakes here in West Hollywood. But a tsunami alert that sent our phones blaring tonight? That's a new one!
In case you're not familiar with the area, WeHo isn't even close to the coast. In fact, we're about 15 miles away. (People often associate West Hollywood with the beach. It's not a beach city.)
Nevertheless, the national agencies monitoring an earthquake in Russia today are saying we could feel the after effects here in SoCal. It's likely the coast will be most hit, if anything, but West Hollywood? We shall see in the coming hours.
