With Brazilian Leo's family in Brazil, the holidays are a tricky time for him. We all head out to gatherings with our loved ones and many times Leo is on his own.
We're fortunate that the bosses don't have family here in California so if they're in town during a holiday, Leo is often invited to hang with them. He's even gone to Canada to spend time in Winnieg when they're there.
This Easter, with all of us heading out and one of the bosses in town, Leo and Boss 1 spent time with animals at a local pet rescue. Since Leo hadn't seen (or even heard of) most animals before coming to West Hollywood, he's amazed by zoos and the concept of house pets.
Leo has become the unofficial dog sitter for the boss' furry friends. They have two dogs and two rabbits. The first time Leo met the dogs -- or dog puppies, as he calls them -- he couldn't believe some animals live in a house.
Needless to say, when Leo heard about the opportunity to spend the day at the animal shelter for Easter, our phones were blowing up all weekend.
Here's Leo to tell you about his Easter.
Bom dia the Buff Boys Coffee friend. Is Leo from Brasil. I will like to say happy Easter for you and you family. I hope is special day of love.
Today I has been make Easter for the dog puppies special. There is no home for these and needs a family to love. They can be happy but I think is sad because there is no family. I would love for have my own but is difficult because there is already Charlie and Bruno lives with the Buff Boys Brothers. Sometime we have visit and the weekend is for play at our house with the one need of family. This is only little time and the dog puppies go away. Is not forever is just visit. In LosAngeles there has many dog puppies with no home.
Is much very excite to visit. I was not sleep because is excite! Jejeje
When I come to visit I get to give the toy for play. We can go outside to run in grass and throw ball. Sometime I can walk with them and if can run fast. It is not easy with walk because can be not good when they pull to go fast and is not walk. Is easy for walk Charlie and Bruno is good boy. They are happy and know the walk pattern.
Today I meet much very dog puppies. There is old one that is walk slow. I think maybe is sick. He gives kisses and has tail go fast when see me. He will like a love home to stay. I was try give him food but he is not want it. I give him a doll and he take and he sleep it. He like when is quiet. He was stay himself alone and not play with the other.
There is Rufus and he is fun to play because he will talk when give him food. Is not talk like English but is the dog talk. Is not words but he is say happy things. He can sit and then he give a foot to make hands with it. His other special is he talk to get a food cookie. When he give it then he will run and play.
Some dog puppies have live with other but they can be alone with no one. I like for visit the one that will live alone because not has friend. Is like me when I come to America. Is difficult to has friend because not everybody will understand my English. Is sad the dog puppies has no friend to play. I can be his friend this day and can have happy day.
I meet a boy and he is with only three feet. Is gone one of the feet because it was hurt. He has a problem that car made him no have all his feet so the doctor say is has for go. He will jump for the walk and is different. I think it will not hurt him. He has special way to walk and is maybe slow for it like the others.
There is a room for play when the people can meet the dog puppies to see if can be a home with them. It is where I will sit and can talk to them. I think they can understand me. The dog puppies will know what I am say and will listen. I meet two this day. It was George and he is black and has big tongue for kiss jejeje. He is always jump for my face and kiss. He has 4 years age. He would be nice to find home family to be forever and love. The person in the building say George is bad because he will take the pieces when not for him. He can break the thing when it is not his. He will need for learn when is his toy for play and is a person. I was try for walk him but it was not good. He was go the different places and was not a nice walk. We will have for come back and play in the room. I hope he will learn to be a nice guy. He was follow me and jump when I come back. I think it was one hours I stay with him in this room. I give him hug before to leave. Is sad because will not see him again and will forget me. It's not good when I exit because I will love them but I can't have them to be.
There is also a family of cat. There was a mom and has make baby. It was 5 baby and one has go for a new home. I get for meet the mom and other baby. They will play but is different play like the dog puppy. The cat has feet and he will hit. Is like he will have hand to hit and it is bad for hurt jejeje. The cat will talk and say a different sound like is cry. It sound sad when I think is not sad. They will walk to see and go around me and touch my leg. Will go for circle then go away. If I throw a ball he will not run to play. When I have a stick with a fur on I will shake for him to jump and hit. The man say people can go for walk the cat like dog puppies but I think is joke. I has not see this. I would walk him if he was good. He will not be fast so it can be long for a slow walk jejeje
When is the time for exit I say goodnight to every and can give a shake hand or hug. Sometime will give kiss. I never want for leave because there is no family for they. If could come back each day I will be happy for it. I know when I will go again the new time there will be new other one for need home. It will be happy when there is a family for all each of him. It make me sad when I write it this and happy for a special day.
