Pittsburgh, a city brimming with history and innovation, has always held a special allure for me. On my recent trip, I finally had the chance to explore one of its crown jewels: the Carnegie Science Center. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the sheer breadth and depth of exhibits, a testament to the power of human curiosity and ingenuity.

It was a great way to get active and learn a little something about the science behind sports. As an adult, this exhibit was surprisingly fun and educational. I can only imagine the delight of the children who were running around, experimenting with the different activities.
Of course, no visit to the Carnegie Science Center would be complete without a trip to the Buhl Planetarium. Taking a seat beneath the planetarium’s dome, I was transported to the vast expanse of space. The show was a stunning visual journey through our solar system and beyond, narrated with engaging explanations that made complex astronomical concepts accessible to all. Seeing the planets and stars projected in such detail was truly awe-inspiring and rekindled my childhood fascination with the cosmos. Because of the nature of the exhibit I wasn't able to grab any shots from inside.
Beyond these major attractions, the Carnegie Science Center is filled with countless other exhibits that explore a diverse range of scientific topics. From the intricacies of the human body to the importance of environmental conservation, there's something to pique the interest of everyone. I found myself lingering in the H2Oh! exhibit, learning about the crucial role of water in our ecosystem and the importance of responsible water management.
